MIDI 4-Way Distribution Unit

Sometimes a MIDI OUT signal needs to be fed to a number of devices at the same time. This unit allows a MIDI signal to be fed to 4 devices. More devices can be used by combining distribution units.

The MIDI 4-way unit design utilizes:

•  a MIDI 5-pin DIN input socket
•  4 off MIDI 5-pin DIN output sockets
•  Active electronic Schmitt trigger inverters, which clean-up the MIDI  signal
• An opto-coupled MIDI input

• A 9v battery or equivalent DC power source
